Our operations are strategically located in modern, world-class facilities at Zayed Military City (ZMC) and our Corporate Head Office in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. As an early mark of excellence, Al Taif has been recommended for the international quality management standard ISO 9001: 2008 and awaits formal approval.
Our main facilities and operations in ZMC include, but are not limited to:
- Type “A” Vehicle Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective maintenance on the chassis of all combat vehicle systems.
- Type “B” Vehicle Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective maintenance on the chassis of all light and heavy wheeled vehicle systems.
- Type “C” Vehicle Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective maintenance on the chassis of all material-handling equipment, construction equipment and tractor trailer units.
- Overhaul Workshop, which performs major component overhaul and rebuild in support of all Vehicle Workshops, plus electroplating of various metals and materials.
- Allied Trades Workshop, which performs ancillary maintenance tasks for all other workshops.
- Weapons Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective maintenance repairs on both turrets and small arms weapons.
- Electronics Workshop, which performs electronic component fault isolation and repair to support the Type “A” Workshop and the Weapons Workshop, on navigation, electronics, optics and night vision, fire control systems, instrumentation and vehicle management systems and communication equipment.
