Al Taif was launched by Mubadala as part of the drive to create a world-class support system for the UAE Armed Forces, and operates in close collaboration with the General Head Quarters (GHQ) of the UAE Armed Forces.
As part of its mandate to realize opportunities, Mubadala is advancing the UAE Armed Forces’ support services capability. It is building a sustainable, networked, commercially viable support system for the UAE and regional armed forces, in line with global armed forces trends.
Mubadala’s network of armed forces support services is made up of nine affiliates, ranging from research and development, maintenance, repair and overhaul, training and development, network systems, technology integration, technical solutions provision, utility support, through to the building of world-class operational assets including naval ships.
This model allows Al Taif and Mubadala’s other defense companies to work together for the mutual benefit of growing and advancing the UAE and regional armed forces. |
